The National Park Fee at Togian Islands

Updated: Aug 6, 2019

The Togian Islands were appointed as a National Park in 2004. Since the end of 2017 all visitors have to buy an entry permit ticket at the harbors in Ampana and Gorontalo.

The entrance fee is set by national laws from Jakarta. The permit fee for international visitors is IDR 150.000.

The entrance fee is set by national laws from Jakarta. The permit fee for international visitors is IDR 150.000 and aims to fund the protection of the marine life, flora and fauna of the Togian Islands. A small amount of money with hopefully big impact.

The tickets which are currently (Jan. 2018) distributed are dated with an old date (2014). This is not a scam – the guys on the harbor are officials from the National Park Office and are assigned to collect the fee.
